As an intermediate, DEA is used in the manufacture of cosmetics, detergent and textile specialties, agrochemicals, petroleumdemulsifiers; as a gas treating agent; in wax, polish and coating emulsifiers; in soluble oils; and as a corrosion inhibitor.
