PIBSA is an ash less, non-fatty, high viscosity surfactant additive.
It is a polyisobutenyl succinic anhydride (PIBSA) derived from polybutene. It is commonly used as an intermediate in the manufacture of oil soluble dispersants for lubricating oil applications and in the manufacturing of emulsifiers.

FORMULATIONS

It is recommended for use at 3 to 14% wt in base oils.
